♫ eh, eh there's nothing more i can say ♫

Random stuff I feel the need to share with my non existent readers :P

i'm praising the words of the song to see if someone hears me and helps me find that somebody LOL (lyrics below :P)

Can anybody find me somebody to love?
Each morning I get up I die a little
Can barely stand on my feet
Take a look in the mirror and cry
Lord what you're doing to me
I have spent all my years in believing you
But I just can't get no relief, Lord!
Somebody, somebody
Can anybody find me somebody to love?

I work hard every day of my life
I work till I ache my bones
At the end I take home my hard earned pay all on my own -
I get down on my knees
And I start to pray
Till the tears run down from my eyes
Lord - somebody - somebody
Can anybody find me - somebody to love?

(He works hard)

Everyday - I try and I try and I try -
But everybody wants to put me down
They say I'm goin' crazy
They say I got a lot of water in my brain
Got no common sense
I got nobody left to believe
Yeah - yeah yeah yeah

Oh Lord
Somebody - somebody
Can anybody find me somebody to love?

Got no feel, I got no rhythm
I just keep losing my beat
I'm ok, I'm alright
Ain't gonna face no defeat
I just gotta get out of this prison cell
Someday I'm gonna be free, Lord!

Find me somebody to love
Can anybody find me somebody to love?

I'm sitting at the library of my school right now. I'm here, not because I'm a library geek, but because I don't have internet at my apartment and I need to download some stuff from the internet (programs for opening publisher files & 80's rock albums :P)

Anyways the point is that I'm like super thirsty, I think it might be because I have only had the following to drink today: 2 cups of coffee, one small Sunny Delight, and 1 bottle of water. yea I'm probably super dehydrated, I need more water in me!

This is something I always forget to do! I never drink my 8 cups of daily water, I drink like 1 or 2 bottles of water daily, totally unhealthy! How can someone forget to drink water? I'm so random! And the sad part is that I've been sitting here parched for almost an hour already and yet I still have not moved to get something to drink. I think thats where my problem lies, I'm to lazy to remember to drink water.

I wish drinking water wasn't so necessary, I also wish I could carry a super huge jug of water in my backbag with a huge straw I can consistently drink from, and I would also like to have a chilling system connected to it. This however is totally impossible, because one it would totally be to heavy, and I would look like such a wierdo if I had a huge straw coming out of my backpack and sitting near my mouth. LOL.

Have there ever been any studies about dehydration causing hallucination or delirious thoughts?

ok, so when i heard about this series i knew i would fall in love with it. However when the season started and I started watching it, it wasn't love at first sight, so I didn't continue watching it. The problem was that i didn't watch the pilot, so i was somehow confused with things, and had not been introduced to the concept appropriately.

BUT my friends kept insisting i would LOVE the show, so when I was at Borders the other day I saw it was on sale and decided to buy it (I <3 buying tv series hehe). I just finished watching the pilot, and i must say I LOVE ITTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!

I am a HUGE music fan, I love listening to music, and i absolutely LOVE musicals. I feel like this show brings those things together with a tv series, and BAM and absolute favorite for me! :) Plus the pilot featured 2 Journey songs, and as you might have seen i am a HUGEEEEE Journey fan !!!!

Not only is the music factor awesome, but the messages that are being transmitted are great too. yea its a little bit corny, having the star athlete be a glee star, somewhat reminiscent of High School Musical, but once you get over that, there are other messages also.

I was particularly taken away by the Glee teacher's story, debating over making someone else happy by becoming an accountant and also making more money, or choosing to continue working with something he is passionate about.

"provide what exactly? the understanding that money is the most important thing? or the idea that the only life worth living is one you're really passionate about?" - Emma (Glee)

This is something everyone goes through at one point or another. I actually just experienced it when having to decide what company to work with, and ultimately chose the one that I was passionate about and knew I would be happier at, not the one that paid me more and may have had more career benefits at the moment. For me happiness won, and I'm glad that this was talked about on the show.

So in summary, I have a new favorite show which I know I will soon be addicted to! This is not something I needed considering I already watch too many tv series and ave adopted a few new ones lately. Why am i such a tv geek?

So back like 3 yrs ago i was like dating this kid who goes to the same college as me. He was also an engineering student, computer engineering actually, and I believe we met online or soemthing like that. He was pretty cute and we got a long really well, only problem was that he turned out to be kinda psychoish LOL. He was beyond smothering, and it annoyed/spooked me lol, so we ended up drifiting apart.

Well ever since then, every once in a while he will call or text me, flirt with me, invite me out, and then he'll disappear again. Well tonight he made an "appearance". He texted to tell me that he's going to be sent to Iraq in June and bla bla, and that we should go out beforehand. This is kinda how it went:

J: "we should go out before I leave, just in case I come back under a flag"
Me: "dude don't say that!!! it'll be fine! But, yeah e should definitely go to T one day"
J: "I might go to T tomorrow, but you'll probably be with your mom in the hospital"
Me: "Yeah I will. We can plan for anther day"
J: "We'll see,"

We'll see? WTH he's the one who invited me and then all of a sudden he's going to "we'll see" me?! this kids is crazy LOL I defintely do NOT understand guys and their motives at all, this is probably the #1 reason I've been single for so long! :S

As i was watching the Hope for Haiti telemarathon, it was hard not to cry with the stories and images presented, its so sad to see this poor country suffering in the way it is. Haiti suffered greatly before this disaster, so its unbelievable to think these people are suffering even more than ever.

Its great to see us all pull together for such a great cause, trying to bring faith and strength to this country. Although its sad that it took another terrible occurrence to pull us together as a county again, the last time I saw such a unity was after 911. What else must happen for us to finally notice God is sending us these messages in order to get us to unite as one and stop with the hating, discrimination, separation.

So i'm at the hospital because my mom was operated yesterday (she had a kidney stone removed) so me and my dad are spending the day with her. being here to care for her and keep her company, makes me think about the fact that once I leave to minnesota, I won't be able to care for my parents this way, to a certain extent I feel like i'm abandoning them to care for themselves. not only this, but they won't be there to care for me either whenever I get sick. in reality, I won't have anyone in minnesota, zero family and pretty much zero friends.

I am now just starting to see the difficulties of growing up, and I don't want to imagine how hard it is going to be to leave my little island, leaving my family and friends behind :(

So as I sat on my sofa at home, I decided to watch some CNN to get an update on what is happening at Haiti, because while I'm at school during the week I don't watch tv. So when I turn to CNN, they're not talking about the Haiti situation, they're talking about John Edward's child out of wedlock. And at that moment I got so mad, there is more important things going on in the world, yet the media feels the necessity to take an hour to talk about some guy's affair and how his cancer survivor/patient wife is handling the situation.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE pop culture and gossip too, but one must set priorities, and this is something our country lacks. We see the same things day after day, in the newspaper the front page goes to the affair between celebrities, or the murder that occurred in NYC, instead of covering the school who won a worldwide science competition, or the couple who set up a free clinic to help underprivileged children. Plus, we should let these poor public figures figure their crazy lives out instead of being in their face about their private issues.

I know this is a topic many find sensitive, and has been talked about a lot, but today I felt the need to fume about it, because it disgusts me that we ignore the tragedy that is occurring in Haiti, to cover a silly affair of an ex-presidential candidate. Its stupid and petty, and just damn superficial.

this commercial is so annoying, yet the song is kinda catchy hahaha LAME

so while having a conversation with my friends, on how the most random people find a bf/gf, yet people  like me are super single my friend stated:

"well its always the average people who have the problem finding someone,"

so I guess I'm just an average girl. this kind of hurt my feelings, because what makes me any less than anyone else. but honestly, I know that when it comes to looks and what not, i'm no more than a 5/6, so inadvertently that definitely makes me average.

and after hanging out with two guys this weekend, i got a harsh look at how guys think of girls, and how important looks are to them. it was a reality call, once again reminding me of my poor possibilities in finding someone, giving me zero confidence, but oh well such is life.

this reminds me of marie digby's song "miss invisible" *tear*

i hate going to cold stone for two reasons:

1. everything looks so delicious, its SO HARDDDDDDD to decide what i want to get! luckily the line is always long, so I have like 20 minutes to decide, because i definitely need the time!

2. everything is so delish, but SO FATTY!!!! I feel like i'm absorbing like 732948 calories! so after i eat the deliciousness i feel super super GUILTY!!!!! but you know what? WHO CARES! I enjoy every little bite! :P

Hooray for ice cream and feeling like a fatty every once in a while :P !!!!!!

This island may be small, but it is totally full of moronic people who do moronic things LOL. So if there's a blog for general FAILS I decided to create an entry type of Puerto Rican FAILS, just general pics I take of my wonderful island haha

Here are 2 pictures of two stores from my hometown, the names are SO LAME and make no sense with what they sell in the stores. oh Coamo :P

So I am definitely NOT donating blood again. I am the type of person who is totally pro blood and organ donations. I've been trying to donate blood for years, but either I get turned down because of my red blood cell count, or when I actually get okay'd to donate, I pass out mid-donation (yes I passed out and even had a convulsion LOL, craziness). and yet I continue trying.

So today I tried, and I got okay'd! Yet it wasn't as successful as I would have liked. It took forever to find a good enough vein, because all of my veins are apparently super skinny LOL. And then while the blood is coming out it all of a sudden stops after around 400 g. So we had to stop, and the pint only had enough blood for red blood cell donation, nothing else, yet it was something. However to use the pint of blood, they need to fill up 4 little tubes which they use for blood tests to determine I have no contagious sicknesses and stuff. The problem is that the vein no longer was pumping any blood, so they had to find another vein to fill up the tubes. Long story short, they poked me 6 more times, in 6 different spots, to finally be able to pump out enough blood from two of the spots to be able to fill the tubes. The worse part was that in each spot they like dug under my skin for like 5 minutes or more in each spot. It was terrible, lol, luckily I'm not afraid of needles.

Moral of the Story: I cannot donate blood. My veins are too skinny, my blood flow is too slow, and my hemoglobin level is usually too low. Although my intentions are great, I have to admit my limitations. Plus I was too much of a problem for the nurses ROFL. I'll have to rely on other sources to feel like a good human being :P

The quote this time comes from Brothers & Sisters, one of my fave tv shows. I love this quote and I think its definitely true when it comes to making decisions and choices in life. Sometimes taking a risk will ultimately make us happier, at least I hope to see it be this way :)

"Sometimes the things you are most afraid of are the things that make you the happiest." - Nora (Brothers & Sisters)

So I finally decided what company I want to work with: GENERAL MILLS!!!! :) SO I'll be moving to Minnesota in the next few months. Even though I like the fact that I made a decision, I can't help but to be afraid I made a bad choice, I'm afraid I missed out on a great opportunity and working with great people who really wanted me. Even so, I feel like I made the choice that made me the happiest, so hopefully it was the best.

although i hate on this island a lot, i definitely LOVE it and love admiring how beautiful it is. our beaches and nature scenes are AMAZING, making it a place definitely worth visiting. too bad the people here can suck sometimes :P LOL I will definitely be missing this place, this time next year (wherever i am :P)

here are some pics i took today while i touristed through the old san juan with my college buddies:

Here's a quote from one of my new favorite shows, How I Met Your Mother. This show, in between its hilarity, covers a lot of fears and thoughts I have in my own life, so I have a lot of great quotes saved from it. This particular one is from when Lily had to decide on giving up on a lifelong dream and getting married, or going after it.

"The bigger mistake would be to not make the mistake, because then you'll go your whole life not really knowing if something was a mistake or not."
- Lily (How I Met Your Mother)

This post represents what is currently going on in my life. I have been facing the decision of where I am going to work once I graduate in May. I have two companies to decide between: General Mills and Procter & Gamble. Both are amazing companies and offer me great career opportunities, so I pretty much have to decide which career path is better for me and for what I want out of life. Its a very tough decision, and I am already leaning towards one end, but I feel like it may be a mistake. But as it says there, i won't know if it was a mistake unless I decide upon it.

AHHHHH!!!! Life as an adult is so difficult!
