♫ eh, eh there's nothing more i can say ♫

This semester has been much more time consuming than I expected. Especially the last few weeks, while we were working on our senior design project. It was hell, but luckily we were able to get some fun out of the situation and enjoy ourselves. This semester has helped learn even more about myself, and although i've had my downs, I've had quite a few ups, and seen everything as a learning and growing experience.

i've been the worse blogger! ever since the semester started i havent had much time to sit down and blog. considering the fact that i still need an outlet, ive been using twitter a lot!

its not fair that these stupid exams and reports take up all my time :( i am now making a promise to spend more time blogging. at least once every two days!

this is one promise i dont want to break :P

2010 Oscar Nominees

I probably could have predicted these nominations. I wish there would have been more diversity around the movies this year, all the award shows seem to be the same shit, different name.

However something that I see as positive is that this year there seems to have been so many good movies! Last year sucked when it came to movies, but this year there were so many good ones, throughout all genres! From Avatar & Star Trek, to Inglorious Basterds, to the Hurt Locker, to The Hangover, to Julie & Julia, to Up!, etc. So many diverse films, yet they were all so good!!!



I just wish more importance was given to Inglourious Basterds, the movie was INCREDIBLE as was teh acting, I feel the female roles deserved recognition, yet it is obvious Mr. Waltz will be walking away with the award, he TOTALLY deserves it!!!! In my mind, this was the movie of the year. Yet all everyone else seems to remember is Avatar & the Hurt Locker ...

I discovered this song on Glee :P (I HEART that show haha) and I really like this song! It's a lot of fun, and I've been starting to get into some Van Halen recently :P (yay 80's rock!)

So after I graduate this summer and move to Minneapolis, I need to buy a car. After having driven a car for a little over a month during my stay in Cincinnati last fall, I was very set on buying one.

However now with all this hype over the Toyota brakes issue, and now with the Prius being included, I don't know what to do. UGH!

And a little part of me thinks this is being blowed out of proportion WAY TO MUCH, and people are seeing things that don't exist. Plus, I feel this may be a media way to help GM get back on its feet and grow stronger while Toyota is weak.

Whatever the truth is, I hope this blows over, and Toyota fixes this so I can buy my Prius :P

Today was the first Wednesday of the semester where I had a full dose of my wednesday class schedule. I'm in classes, without any break from lunch, from 7:30am - 3:30pm, and in this time includes 2 labs of 3 hours each. Not only is this exhausting, but I grow EXTREMELY HUNGRY!!!!

See I'm a person that can go without eating dinner, but breakfast and lunch are SACRED to me. I come prepared for this LOL. My snack bag today included a Yoplait Light yogurt (which got ad because my backpack was left out in the heat), Nature Valley crunchy granola bar, Special K granola bar, Cinnamon Toast Crunch small on-the-go box, and my fave snack: Walgreens Cranberry & Nut Mix.

So not only was I saved by the Cran&Nut Mix (I didn't eat any of the other snacks) but on my way to the Chemistry building I bumped into a hot dog sale in the Engineering building, a hot dog with toppings + a cup of soda for $2 bucks. Good enough for me. It might not be nutritious, and is definitely the type of food I've been staying away from in the last few months, but today i NEEDED it, it had been a long morning. The bread was perfectly soft, and the hot dog was nice and warm and tender. yummy. And then the delicious yogurt covered cranberries from my nut mix, topped it off just fine. Fatty and Sweet food always hit the spot.


Wednesdays are going to be HELL this semester. I'm going to have to come prepared with salvation food, so I don't either die of hunger, or kill someone because I'm so hungry.
